A10 1957 motor.

Finally got on the road and would like to say I went round the block but it was not pulling. Starts absolutely fine.
I've cleaned the carb and sanded the body so that it makes a flush join with the manifold.
Muck is coming from the tank but being caught by the mesh in the carb banjo connection.
I've not looked at the points as it ran OK before I dismantled the clutch so I expected it to run OK today but grrrrrr. Any ideas or does anyone want to buy it?

G'day Keith,
Could be a timing issue,

G'day Keith,
If you have auto adv,/ret., have a look at the springs, make sure everything looks OK.
Also, could be starving for fuel, have both petcocks on, make sure petrol tank cap
breather is clear, then if still no good, I would dismantle your carb, & give a good
blow out & clean.
Just try pressing the primer button on the carb down while its running, & see if it's
reving better!

Also, how do your plugs look?
