1958 Super Rocket
« on: 14.09. 2013 20:44 »
Hi Everybody, just joined this great forum. Bought a 58' Super Rocket last April from a dealer ( swapped a 1940s car for it) it's in great condition but have been busy sourcing as many correct original bits and bobs and pulling of all the repro stuff,I'll try load a picture. M

G'day Yarp  *welcome*.
That's a great looking bike mate. If she goes as good as she looks you'll be a happy chappy.
Cheers

Hi Martin,

I'm living near the real Capital  *ex* *ex* Peoples Republic of Cork  *lol*

I usually meet up with some other forum members at the Leopardstown Show in October
but I am not taking a stall there this year and may be away to see my new Grandaughter then??
If at home I will be there on the day

A nice and warm welcome.
If you're looking for a good source of info, you've come to the right place.

About pulling off stuff, first thing I'd do is get rid of the carb's bellmouth, and put a decent air filter on. You'd be amazed how much sand and dust gets sucked in through there....
