A good rider periodically checks all nuts and bolts with a spanner to see that they are tight - Instruction Manual for BSA B series, p46, para 2.

I see you are allowed to compete without a front mudguard or fairing. I don't think that outfit would pass the scrutineers in UK.

fairings hide the engine and a front mudguard is just weight. Can't comment on UK sidecar rules but it has no issues with scruitineering this side of the world and we have plenty of rules to comply with!

If I ever want to ship it half way round the world I suspect i could fit a mudguard...

Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'
Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy

RR has I said  on the other post very very nice indeed , love to see something so supposedly staid as an outfit being pushed along at a very fast rate of knots by a competant rider and passenger good on yuh ,really liked all the photo's BobH

Yes, at meetings the sidecar races are often the most entertaining to watch and the most competitive. The solo races usually attract a few riders who just like a cruise round the track and are not bothered about winning.

That's a great bike and a great photo, but did you happen notice there's a guy hanging off the side? Also, I trust BobH was likening it to an airplane rather than a boat in using "knots" to describe your speed.
