A couple of days ago I tried to remove the timing side cover to have a look at the belt drive I installed some time ago. Couldn't get it of, it was like the gasket sticking on one side. After 15 minutes of careful wiggling, it still refused to come off. I stopped, went out for a smoke, came back in and noticed I had left one bolt in....
BTW belt drive still looks as new after about 500 miles.
