If I remember, all I did with mine was compress the whole assembly between two slotted 'end plates' using a length of allthread. Leave one end of the allthread with no spare thread showing and pass the other end with the long bit of thread through the one of holes in the frame first. Centralise the plunger unit then remove the allthread and 'wiggle' the slotted plates out. I think I used some felt on the slotted end plates to protect the paintwork. Also use similar method for drawing the front forks through the yokes.

Sheesh.....I don't know what you're implying but you really do need to improve your security.

But seriously, I seem to remember making 3 of these many years ago and I gave the other 2 away to deserving causes.  I don't suppose yours was one of them was it??

Anyway, at least lewisplunger will get an idea of how it's done.  Where abouts are you LP?  If you're close to me you are welcome to borrow mine.

Hi, thanks for info guys. Would like to take to take you up on your kind offer Beeza if poss?
I live in Cleveland N/E. Will be getting parts powder coated before re assembly so no rush.
My 1954 A10 Plunger came in boxes so have ordered a manual for assembly order.
Hope to be able to view a complete A10 Plunger soon.

Well, I'll go to the foot of our stairs (how's that for a Northern expression)?  What a coincidence because I'm also in Cleveland.  Norton in fact, but only because I couldn't find a village called Beeza.

Send me a PM and I'll give you my contact details.

Yep that's how I do it too Terry. I don't think they (rest of the world) eat Vegimite on their toast. *smile* Note in the video the bottom cups are uneven.

Yep I eat vegimite on toast it works wonders. Its like windex in the movie my big fat greek wedding good for everything.
Remember that old bloke Cliff Young that jogged the highways from Sydney to Melbourne before he left each day he had vegimite on toast.
