Longstroke camshaft ?

There is a camshaft on "ebay" stamped up 2271 ..is this a longstroke "Star Twin" please ?

Hope someone can shed some light ?

Hi Stephen,

My parts book for 1949 models shows the A7 and A7 Star Twin camshaft as part number 67-695 so, if anything, I reckon that's what it should be stamped up as.

You will find that the vast majority of long-stroke cams had no markings.
I have only ever found one with the number on the end. ( And it is a good one, not like most of them.)

It looks like one from a short stroke motor to me.
