Staveley rockers 1970 the chap on left is my mate joe who now is 73 or 74 i think , the chap in the hat is the founding member of a band called witchfind and the 650 beeza is still on the road.

Seeing as i got up a bit late today and missed the BSAOC Cheshire run into Snowdonia i went on a bit of a run round Shropshire. Moreton Corbett Castle, Shropshire, today.

Ride out on my 1953 A10 Superflash with a mate and we just had to stop for refreshment. The sharp eyed amongst you may notice she is now fitted with a Monobloc as I could not get on with the TT spilling petrol all over the mag and no tick-over.

BSA A10 1960ish. Not sure of date

I bought it in 1980 when I was 22 as a non runner. With the help from my good friend Steve Foster I took the engine out, fixed the Mag, painted the frame with hamerite and tin wear Ford Electric blue.  The work powered by ignorance all done in 3 months

I was unsure of taking it out but another friend jumped on it a teared off around Thurso, that increased my confidence.

One for RD - an aussie invention seen recently at the BSA international ralley in NZ. alloy barrels, ports move on one of the B series heads. amazing
