Buying A10 Thick Flange Barrels
« on: 22.01. 2014 11:47 »
Am I right in saying that it's only the A10 thick flange barrels that have the number 67-1210 cast in them?

Hi,
67-1210 is the parts book number for engines post DA10 7801 or DA10 R 101
the casting number will normally be be different from this by one,
Peculiar then my SR has 67-1210 cast on the front left hand side upside down ??
67-029 is cast on the back of both thick and thin flange cylinders
67-1074 is cast on the front of a thin flange cylinder in the workshop ( I dont have the early parts book to check the part number)

According to my parts books 67-1210 is for the Road Rocket the later Gold Flash and the Super Rocket. 67-1074 is for the A10 plunger and the early swinging arm Gold Flash.  67-1070 is for the A7, Star Twin and the Shooting Star. These numbers are from the 1954 to 57 plunger and swinging arm  A7 & A10 book, and the 1958 onwards swinging arm A7 & A10.
