I have a BSA A10 Goldenflash (1961 originally sold in South Africa) that has been in storage for the last thirty years. Currently putting back together.

Anyone able to provide a part number for the ignition points/contact breakers? I don't seem to be finding them online.

If they're brass the points Lucas part number is 470609 for an anti-clockwise K2F, if the assembly is steel, it's 5440888. Both types can be had (pattern parts), and the separate spring blades too for the brass type.
Chances are, to be honest, that after 30 years in storage, the mag could do with a fair bit bit of love! Good luck, Bill

The plate on it has the following information:

Quote
K2F 423790
AC 361

Unscrew the cap and have a look.
It should have the steel plate type.
