K2F Magneto Pickup
« on: 06.03. 2014 19:53 »
Can anybody tell me how to secure the HT Pickup Mouldings. I have one that is secure and another which can be spun round. I've tried to increase the tension to the leaf spring on the top of the pickup securing clips, but I'm loathed to bend them too much. Any tips?

The mouldings have a flat on one side , the mag has a flat machined at the bulge ... when these two flats mate , nothing can rotate very much .....

Yes, as described above, ain't your pickups straight on one side \ secured by the ridge?
Or using a different mag body \ type of pickup?

Sorted Guy's.

I found that the rivet which holds the spring leaves onto the pickup security clip, needed to be tightened. All I needed to do is tap it with a centre punch gently and she became instantly tight. The HT pickup is now secure. Thanks guy's. *smile*
