The guy I bought mine from has been into A10s and Goldstars for years. He still has 2 Gold Star project bikes.  He told me the Spitfire Scrambler used the Goldie swingarm, steering neck and forks as well. One fork leg is split at the axle, with a pinch bolt, the other is threaded and the axle screws into it. Did any other models use this arrangement? Another difference he mentioned was a solid swingarm pivot pin instead of the hollow one. I found a source for that (SRM). Not sure what I need for axles yet.

I believe at least some of the GS Spit's had the big clamp on forged scrambles pegs with folding footrests. They start with the same main forging as on scrambles Gold Stars and machine it to suit the folding outer peg. I have seen two pretty original GSSpit's and they both had this type of Foot peg.
