oil leak found

Trying to find where the stuff's dripping from can be difficult, then I read a tip on here about blowing talcum powder over everything so you can see the trails. It now being the riding season again up here in the northern hemisphere I was able to try this out. The culprit turned out to be the flexible joint on the feed pipe to the rockers. Mine's been fitted with a tight fitting bit of clear tube with no clamps, great for seeing the flow, no so good at keeping the stuff on the inside.

Ethelred, I used a can of foot powder, it has a nozzle like a WD40 can, so you are able to put a light film of powder just where you want it, and not over the rest of the motor or gearbox, it works pretty good.
