Dutch,

It was easy for me to tell that Bronson was riding on Pacific Coast Highway, then, I immediately recognized the bridge he crosses at the end of the clip as Bixby Bridge, just south of Big Sur. About 1970, me and my friends climbed down to the beach below there and had a fine afternoon. The symbols in the sand long since  washed away along with any other evidence.

EDIT:  Just saw that the Bixby Creek Bridge info for Bronson is easily found. I didn't need it.

Yo, this was the first link I looked at- maybe you too, full of stuff I never expected, even all the episodes too bad there's no or little A10 presence though...!
More info than the 'Back to Bronson page'.

I saw that Mad picture way back then, haven't seen it since- but never forgot it... *conf*.

I'm a transplanted native Californian, living most of my first 43 years in Los Angeles. I guess what I was trying to say is that memory can still be a reliable source of information, so not everything requires the internet. On the other hand, I liked seeing this video story of the bridge. To put this in forum context, Pacific Coast Highway would be the first place I'd like to take my A10 if it was out there now, versus 2000 miles away.

Nice piece of perspective thanks...would've been a haul of a climb?..been thinkin' of late that a USofA/Canukia road trip could be fun- World trip was what I had in mind when I started building mine, but cross water shipping would dampen that (hurt)...!

No pitons required. There was most of a steep trail from the west (ocean) side of the north (curvy) end of the bridge.
