At $225 + post I'd like the other bits.
Might be a different breather system. The other hole could be oil delivery to the crank?
He's not cheap. Over $1K for a plunger g/box  *ex*.

And I would really like to see the inside.
Looks almost like it could have been factory except for the dome head bolts on the plate over the maggy pinion as BSA seemed to exclusively use philister heads.
Looks like there would still be enough space to fit a tacho drive in there but that bottom hole has me stumped.
Running the points off the idler pinion means that it would have to be a different gear at least .
Just a hope that some one here would have recognised it,
Possible BSA test unit for points ignition ?
that would justify the price.

Ignition, yes I like that. Then the magi pinion could be used to drive a BLOWER. *pull hair out*
