Well your guys went out to a team on great form but they certainly played their part, a gutsy display (as you might expect)

On another day it could easily have been another result
All the best - Bill
1961 Flash - stock, reliable, steady, fantastic for shopping
1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco

How good was that goal by Tim.

Hey Wozza,
Great result with the Hockey; what a crushing victory by the Kookaburra's. And our girls were worthy bridesmaids!

Charlesworth retired today; nothing more to prove!

Bit of a shame really. In the old Belgium-Holland rivalry tradition I would have loved to see you guys win. Still, better luck next time  ;)

Isn't it about time us English admitted we're not very good at football? We may have the most competitive Premier league on the planet (or maybe Spain has - I really don't care!) but that's because most of the players are foreign, they come here for the money and we're daft enough to give it to them! I really think you should only be allowed to play football in the UK if you were born in the UK and you should only be allowed to ride a BSA if you were born within 200 miles of Armoury Road (only joking about the BSA bit, just trying to make the post relevant!). And anyway.....Uruguay...where is that.. and how come a piddling little country with only 5% of the population of the UK can find eleven blokes capable of kicking a pig's bladder into an onion net better than we can? Good luck to them! Apparently the man with the slide rule reckons we still have a slim chance of progressing beyond the group stage. At the moment, supporting England, feels like a lingering death, so 'Come on Italy' get a draw against Costa Rica and put us all out of our misery then maybe the British public will start appreciating some of the great, gutsy, sportsmen that we have like Tom Sykes and Tai Woffenden. Ah well, that's got all that off my chest! Just going out to the garage to carry on building the Super Rocket, nearly finished, just got the wiring and the instruments to do.

Anyway...  in reality it's a silly game ...
I could never understand why you'd pay all that money for a pair of footy boots
& then kick it with your head...     *countdown*    *sick*   *dunno2*

Looks like it's time to repost this:

With disclaimer: am not taking sides, may the best win, just found the text very funny  *smile*
