Cracking Bike

What with all this lovely weather the last couple of weeks (in-between storms), I figured I’d take the long suffering Mrs B out for an evening drink at one of the hostelries out in the Essex villages last Thursday evening. T3 - ‘Blue’ more ordinarily runs with a single seat, The H1 - ‘Brown’ still needs some cleaning post Dirtquake. Shame the Nimbus is still in the throws of the registration process, what to take? The old V50 – ‘Black Pearl’ … ?

I’d quite forgotten the A10 sitting in the side of the garage, it’s barely turned a wheel this year and hasn’t been run for maybe 3 – 4 months. Checked the oil tank – no wet sumping. On with the fuel and a quick tickle then check the clutch clears – all OK. Kick start failed to swing on the first attempt (in moccasins), but then fired up on the first swing through. Then a roll through the lanes two up, and a pint of foaming English ale and a pipe. Most excellent, and what a sweet, sweet ride (still talking about the bike).

Figuring I’ll give her a ride out at the next Krazy horse open night.
