nice - get them to swing North a bit  *smiley4*

did Avro have a factory in Canada or were they built under licence , I recall training with recognition cards in the early 60's and a variant (I think) of the Canberra - a CF100 if memory serves, it was built in Canada , maybe by the same factory
All the best - Bill
1961 Flash - stock, reliable, steady, fantastic for shopping
1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco

Yes Scotty, hell of a journey for a plane of that vintage ,should have left tuesday but one engine wouldn't run but they sorted it ,surprised they didn't contact this forum for help *smiley4*. Bill,I've checked the flying schedule (bbmf ) August is showing with dates for both lancs ,nothing in the north at all which when you think this is the only time in my life that this will happen really pisses me off ,one is coming to Southport but can't see Sept yet and she goes back sometime in Sept before the weather gets to bad ! I'll travel if needs be as I intend to see this wonderful sight , BobH

sorry meant to say but I'd rather see it whilst I'm sitting on my bike, BobH.
