Ok sit down hold your ribs and get ready to laugh,i can't get my head around the positive earth,it just go's against the grain for me ,i need to charge my battery, now heres the question is it still red to red and black to black.

I think i'm having a senior moment.

Yes otherwise you change the polarity of the battery, I usually take the negative lead off the battery - not sure this is at all necessary

The charger "+" lead goes onto the battery "+" terminal.


The charger "-" lead goes onto the battery "-" terminal.
