All I asked was a simple question now it's spread into a list of things all deadlier than the rest ! What no green or orange deadly examples ! Sure you're just winding me up but for once I'm content in the UK , bad weather well you live with it , cold the same ,kills a few germs but snakes now theres something I can do defo without , it'd turn me into either a whimpering crettin or a demented hunter with a 12 gauge on a mission, not a good dream for me I can tell you. Musky before you get to the campsite on the IOM you'd best make sure non of them gritters are in your luggage they'd run amok there ! I'm sleeping with the light ON !! cheers Bob.
Actually most eastern Browns are more green than brown.
Most true green snakes down here are pythons and in particular several versions of green tree pythons.
Like most reptiles they will bite but no venom just a pile of nasty bacteria.
Eastern Browns have a more concentrated venom than king Bowns which are a much larger snake.
King browns tend to live more west so they are a annoyance for farmers who either leave them alone or give them a bad case of lead poisoning.
Eastern brown inhabit the coastal region where all the idiots live who see one then go chasing it with a shovel or axe.
they miss the snake which runs strait up the axe/ shovel handle and bites them deeply on the hand / wrist and being now in a defensive mode whip in a full load of poison which will be fatal in an hour if you sit quietly and write your will. Run around like a headless chook and you canbe gone in as little as 10 minutes.
