Bendigo Swap meet.
« on: 15.11. 2014 21:33 »
The Annual Bendigo swap meet is on this weekend, this is the BIGGEST car & bike swap meet in Victoria, if not Australia,  sooooo... I set the alarm for 5am & off I toddled up the Calder Hwy.
met up with a mate who was working at the meet & started scrounging through the thousands of stalls..
There were plenty of good project bikes for sale, but at a price way over my limit...   *conf2*
I managed to pick up a few spare parts for the A10, & some new AMAL bits & pieces for my upcoming carb rebuild.. *work*
Glad I went yesterday as the weather was good, today it's raining heavily & most stall holders will pack up early..  ( I didn't see any A65 barrels Musky )  some pics.

the Indian ACE (or 4) came with a spare motor & trans..  $$$$$   *pull hair out*

Its always good to find some wanted parts Wozza.

I havent been to Bendigo for a few years now but must go again, first went in '84.

As for the Thor and Ace, well the old saying is "if you have to ask how much it is then you cant afford it !"

Probably about 15 years since last down there (8 hour drive from here).
Got a set of barrels from US, thanks WozzA. Arrived with 3 broken fins. *rant*
Cheers
