I really don't think they are a very good direct replacement for a standard battery in a vehicle, the charging system is not constructed for or precise enough for these sensitive batteries.
There is also the discharged=ruined risc.

As for the vehicles I convert it's a different matter, I have all the necessary electronics in place and they work for tens of thousands of miles without a glitch.

In the close future they (or with slightly different chemistry) will problably replace Lead-Acid as the standard in new vehicles, heard 48V will be the new peripheral voltage...
