parts book read the codes for bolt sizes

Hi i have a 1956 gold flash swinging arm frame the bike has the wrong forks in i have managed to get some spares to rebuild the forks  but the spares book i have just gives a part number no with a code for dia thread ect how do you read the codes also i have no bolts so were can get some bolts that are high tensile not ss. one  of the bolts i need is 29-5289 bottom yoke bolt.any help would be very grateful.
