a7ss head on a10

Looking for some advice if i can put a a7ss on my a10 which has a alloy head with the number 67-1571,the problem is this head is in a bad state with broken fins and it has had a poor weld/repair near the rh inlet valve spring and i have a bare head in good condition with 67-1122 which i believe is a a7ss head but this one has had the combustion chamber made bigger in diameter taking the step out by the gasket face to i would imagine fit a a10 at some stage and the valves seem to be the same size as the 67-1571.i have ordered 8.25 cr piston at 080" cheers mike

Ran mine likes that for donkeys years, no issues.

Done that a couple of times it works well.It gives you a good squish . Not to sure on what compression I used though.

Go for it Mike. That's exactly what I have on the cafe (but higher 10.5:1 pistons).

 my sidecars head was originally an A7ss one. The A7SS heads are typically less knocked around than the A10 Alloy ones
