Puller for camshaft pinion?

Hello,
The first of what will be many questions I'm sure!
Can anyone recommend a puller (and source to buy) to remove the camshaft pinion? I really don't want to knacker anything by ham-fisted levering!  I did do a search but couldn't find anything.

Wouldn't be a big job to make one up, piece of 1/4 flat drill two holes to match the threaded holes in the pinion and a couple of bolts and a hand full of washers

 What Bill said, and it should come ok, but DON'T be tempted to drift/press the cam inwards out of the gear, as there's a woodruff key that will gouge the bush which may otherwise be ok

On my A7 I just found 2 bolts with the same thread as the tapped ones in the pinion and gradually tightened them up and they pushed the pinion off  no bother, but I would not put too much pressure on as you could damage the crankcase looking at the general state of things you maybe better off making a puller as the previous post has indicated a bit of substantial flat bar with 3 holes in, the centre one drilled and tapped, the other 2 with clearance holes to suit tapped holes in the pinion.

 I have one of those harmonic balancer pullers, forgot it but probably used it when I needed to- handy for lots of things

No one has mentioned what thread the two holes are? Cycle or BSF.

 Most likely BSC, there's FA BSF on a (real) BSA- only head bolts, dynamo/maggie nuts, that I know of and maybe one other thing I can't think of....

only 1/4", same pitch- different threadform BSC 60˚/BSF/Brass-55˚
 Have a spare close by, ran a 1/4" BSC in one hole, and a 1/4" Brass in the other- no apparent problem, both a bit tightish (probably nothing in there since new) but see what others say- I'd go with BSC
