Getting stuff together for  RGF rewire  (12 volt), aim to use 4.8mm spades for neatness rather than 6.3 ones which with a cover on are quite bulky, might also consider multi pin connectors.
First though I need wire, plenty available in many colours but which size 1 or 1.5 mm (thin wall probably), biggest draw will be the headlight, will also have indicators and Pazon ignition (although indicators will be LEDs)
So 1 or 1,5 - thin wall or not - fuse size 10 amp? your input much appreciated

I would use 1.5mm2, that size is normally rated for 10A. 10A x 6V =60W without energy loss (heat).

cheers Jonny - I'm 12 volt so 1.5 would go to 120w, might that be a bit overkill or just a safer option

Fuse should  be about 20A continuous.

Not everybody agrees with me, but I want a fuse that will blow when there's a short circuit and will not blow under any other circumstances.

Most motor factors keep their stuff in stock or can get it next day.
I'd agree with a 20A fuse if you're just using the one but personally I'd divide it into say, 3 circuits, and fuse each separately.

Food for thought unclerob there are three feeds to the one fuse fitted at the moment.

Now I've had some answers I have had time for the little grey sells to warm up and it occurs to me I should perhaps use both sizes of wire 1.5mm for battery to ammeter and ammeter to headlight, and 1mm  should do the rest 20 amp fuse to the battery and perhaps ten to the ignition and others.
Dynamo - field , probably 1mm Dynamo naybe 1.5

The wire loom for the plunger I got from Draganfly is all 1,5 sq mm.
Theoretically you can go thinner on a 12V system, but I think 1 mm is a bit to thin Bill. May be prone to shear easily at the connectors.
