Very soon kickstarting it. Hopefully it all works, years of work by hundreds of people, one chance only...
2 passengers on board: some 100's of millions worth of satellites.

Good one. Just caught the launch. So what is that one doing?
Ofter wonder about all that stuff whizzing around up there. They'll nee to install traffic lights soon.

Thinking about the amount of machinery, computers and electronics that -must- work, makes me dizzy  *countdown*

afaik, the sats are one for tv, internet, communications etc, and an italian military sat.

Weird though how something which years ago made people all over the world get up in the middle of the night and turn the tv on now passes by unnoticed...
Makes me wonder, does NASA still launches something into space every now and then? Maybe Richard can help us out here.
