Dealers stickers
« on: 14.05. 2015 18:02 »
Not sure if this is of any interest to anyone except me...but thought I'd post this just in case it might be!
I've often felt an urge to put the original supplying dealers sticker back on a bike I've rebuilt and have just come across a source for them.....

There are others listed on their site including Pride and Clarke and Owen Bros under dealers.....

GB, one of my first jobs was checking bikes prior to collection and one of the check items , that the badge had been put on the rear mudguard , only Velos ( we were dealers for BSA/Tri Velo and Yamaha plus others ,not bad for 1966 ) escaped, there owners often prepped there own bike so we used to take them to them in the crates ,often to the relief of the workshop ! Thanks Musky....just gave my race bike a bit of a makeover....haven't got the slightest idea if he originally sold it but that hasn't stopped me putting the sticker on!!
