I was reading muskys post re the Merlin motor in a boat & remembered I had these pictures
of one from the Winton historic races from a couple of years ago,
& thought you'd be interested?

My brother-in-law is working on an early Fiat with a big engine. Not as big as that one but Fiat obviously went in for large capacity lumps back then. Puts my Panda in perspective!

Anybody interested in the Fiat do a search for "the beast of Turin", there is quite a bit about it.

Yeah- I actually dug out that 'beast of turin' post to show ol' mate I was working with today..he was a 'little' impressed...he rides a Husaberg

Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy
