Rear hub - 42T or 49 T?

Hi all,
Just building up a plunger rear for a 1956 bike. I have a few options, a 42t hub and a 49t hub. I believe 42t is standard for a solo of that age, but wondering if there is any advantage to using the 49t one?

If you are fitting a sidecar or want quick acceleration with limited top speed, use the 49.

I've got a 49t on my solo A10PL and it starts running out of steam at about 55/60'ish mph. When I get round to buying one I'll be fitting a 42t.

A 19t gearbox sprocket and a 42t rear will give you very comfortable cruising at 60-65mph on a plunger A10.
