Is This BSA A gold Flash

Hi All can you help

 I am in contact with Russ who lives now in Bulgaria has  a gold flash with ally head he wants to know if this was an add on on his gold flash or was it a cast head I said it is an ally head but am I right or not.
Can any one help this what he posted to me .

If it is a Gold Flash then it never left the factory with an alloy head and it must have been changed at a later date the frame number indicates that it is 1961 but that engine number needs to be checked again to see if it is a mistake because in it's present form it does not exist in the BSA lists. The first DA numbers begin DA10-651 in 1958. If there is a letter R stamped after the DA10 and begins DA10R-101 then it will be a 1960 Super Rocket engine.

According to my records DA10 14028 is early 1961, so probably built in autumn 1960. The first DA10 in 1961 was DA10 13201. The first DA10 in 1962 was DA10 17181. DA10 was usually Golden Flash with iron head. Interestingly I own DA10 14790 which was first registered in July 1961.

 I see now the typing error and agree with what beezermacc  says, but Gold Flash bikes never left the factory with alloy heads. But if you want official confirmation of the bike's  year of manufacture and if that engine and gearbox were together when they left the factory minus that alloy head then you should pay the fee and contact the librarian on the BSA owners website his name is Steve Foden he will give you a certificate which will confirm  the bikes provenance.
