spending 2hrs on a sunny morning washing and polishing the the car to a showroom finish then take the wife shopping to sainsburys were some polish or bosnian bloke asks me if i want the car washing

My car hadn't been washed once since I bought it 3 years ago then came out of the supermarket the other day and found they'd cleaned it by mistake.....its spoilt now....you can see all the scratches and dents where I've driven into things!!!!

I think I may have washed my car this year. Yeah, pretty sure I hosed off the mud back in March. Been a lot of years since I've polished or waxed. Doesn't make sense. Put paint on to protect the metal, then wax to protect to the paint. What's next, park it in the garage and put a cover on it?????

I've just killed a Toyota Avensis 2 ltr , 2 weeks ago oil pump broke ?? ,had the car for 6 yrs and washed it religiously ...    every Christmas , still looked quite new so  must have preserved the paint Bob.
