A10 gearbox and gears

New to this forum. Looking forward to many rewarding topics. Excuse my ignorance on things BSA, but I have just purchased a 1960 Super Rocket/Rocket Goldstar replica.
Can you please tell me what sort of gears the gearbox holds. Are they cross cut, spur, worm, hypoid and does the type have a bearing on the oil used? Thanks

 Fair chance they're stock straight cut gears, unless someone's done some fancy work,and done otherwise...no idea what ratios they'll have unless you dissect it and have a looksee, but you'll get a fair(vague) idea by riding it and see how it revs in each gear.

 The crew'll like it if you rip over to the introduction place and spin a yarn for a  (that doesn't mean make a beanie or socks with needles)
