Why Two Part Nums for A7/A10 Cam Follower?
« on: 29.07. 2015 15:29 »
Hi,

What is the difference in A7SS/A10 cam followers that they have differing part numbers, and how do you tell which is which between 67-332 and 67-333?

Much appreciated

Hi Peter,

the difference is head design and wight.
One have rounded head and look more massive. Wight is 58 gramms
The light ones looks a bit like a tower and is smaller in circuit at the head. 50 gramms

But I don't know the partnumbers each one.

Cheers Klaus

Ive written my post confusingly. What I meant to say was, why are the cams a set, yet have different part numbers and what is that difference? Klaus has kindly weighed them. I wish to buy new repro set and fear they will be all one type instead of two 332 and two x 333.

Thanks guys

G'day Peter. A set will have two of each. The outer two are different to the inner two due to the holding mechanism.
