Tank rubber plug in Grey

My original tank centre bolt rubber plug has just about given up, problem is trying to find replacement in grey, needed to match the new poor fitting knee rubbers. I can find them in black, but wanted to stop grey, any idea,s.

don't know anything for certain but wonder if soaking a black one in bleach would have the desired effect (effect/affect - never got those two sorted in me mind).
Did they ever make grey ones or is this a colour co-ordination thing *smile*

I haven't seen any made in anything other than black , why not just spray it grey ? won't be permanent but could possibly be a why forward and with such a small area the tin will probably outlast your good self ,     *whistle*Bob

Also if yours are like my grey knee pads ,not only don't they fit well but they discolour mine have been on for 3 yrs and look a very grubby colour.

I seem to remember that the tank rubber plug on a 1961 C15 I owned in the '60s was grey. So presumably BSA sometimes fitted grey
parts. The knee grips were also grey.

Used a rubber colour restorer on mine with a quite good result.
