The ride-in that I did today,
http://www.a7a10.net/forum/index.php?topic=9722.0
was along the A5, (a main road with 70mph rated dual carriageways). I wanted to try and keep up with as many of the modern bikes as I could, if only because I didn't know exactly where we were going, so I was thrashing the old girl more than I normally would; at times up to 70mph, (bear in mind that I have this 18 tooth sidecar gearbox sprocket)! Towards the end of the ride my bike started to make a new noise; something like a loud buzzing come rattling at high revs. When I parked I was expecting to find the chain-guard loose but no. While riding home I was able to get the same sound if I pushed the revs higher than normal. I've given everything a bash with my fist to try and get some sort of similar rattle. I thought maybe it is a loose silencer baffle, but seems not. The only thing I can get any kind of rattle from is the rear mudguard hinge that the Plunger has. Any thoughts on this?

G'day Graybeard.
Had a vibe/rattle/hum like that on mine.
Have a look at the front fuel tank mount. The hole through the frame has a pair of steel tubes and rubber bushings 67-8108, 67-8109.
Cheers
