Gearbox cable aduster thread.

I'm making a spare clutch cable for my A10. Does anybody know the thread size in the gearbox lug that the adjuster screws into please?

The one they have sent me is too small, and they claim they made them in different thread sizes, is this true?

 Fairly sure the ones I have are 1/4" BSC - but in my absence had a second take maybe 5/16" (and would still be BSC)
Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'
Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy

Just checked a couple of gearbox inner covers and they are both 1/4" x 26 t.p.i = BSCY or BSF. Don't forget that the adjuster was moved to the handlebar levers in 1960 ish so those gearboxes have no thread as the cable just has a loose ferrule to locate it.

 I measured mine when I came back to it, and concur with B'macc and self *smile*- 1/4"....

 Useless information; Having done some research for a replacement for mine that is a little trashed from the truck parking on it, I discovered I have one of the above ( 1960-62 # 40-8539; Same as  219LH -Doherty # ?), which is almost identical to the original from '48- '59; # Standard;   ’47-’53/'54-'59 Clutch Control    29-8820 (No adjuster or Ball-end)
