hi Fellas - new to the forum and what a fantastic forum it is

 I have read quite a few of the topics on the forum particularly on the A7 engine and the wealth of knowledge you guys have is amazing so .....

er so where do i start

Not sure of my way round posting a topic yet so i am not sure if the picture will load anyhow i have a basket case  A lovely 1948 A7 long stroker (YA7 3532) from initial look see the engine seem o k but i expect that will change as i get into it, however the gearbox is very rattly so that will be a challenge.

The frame has been changed (or the engine has) at some point to a plunger frame (ZA7S6009) The frame and tin work are in fair order with the exception of the rear mudguard which i believe is beyond repair. So i am looking forward to getting started 
I have no doubt i will be back to ask you guys for some expert help. Evidently the picture file is to large so i have taken in out.

Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. I suspect some previous owner, before "vintage" set in, wanted a gentler ride than he was getting from a rigid frame. Looking forward to seeing photos along the way. If you don't want to edit, crop or resize your photos you can just set you camera for 640x480 resolution. Also, it's going to be interesting for us (and challenging for you) to see how longstoke parts come along.

Welcome Lordship!  Just the way I received my 61 A-10.  It was actually a blast figuring out where everything went!  MANY smart folks here to help.....
