K2F mag
« on: 28.10. 2015 12:55 »
Hello all;
I have tried to remove the auto advance unit from my K2F mag, so I can withdraw the mag for an overhaul.
I undone the bolt (with horseshoe washer under it) anticlock wise.
It has undone about 6 turns, then became tight. I don't want to force it. Am I doing something wrong.
Any advise please.
Thanks in advance.

probably not Keith,  lt will become tighter as it starts to pull the A/U unit off it's taper, proviso is what your definition of tight is compared to others, but will go from slack to tighter

Yes it has probably not gone tight as in very tight, but I just thought it should just unscrew normally.
I'd like to ask first rather than break something.
Thanks Keith
