Fork oil capacity
« on: 15.06. 2016 19:55 »
The Haynes manuel says 100 ml of oil per leg for my 53' plunger, is this right? I was wondering if not enough oil is giving me the problems, too bouncy and topping out, what do you think?

Mr Haynes strikes again! 142ml works in my '51.

Would it hurt if I put a bit more oil in? I have put in 142 ml, and it's better, still tops out easily, it seems like if I can put more in it might help!

You could try a little more or a heavier weight oil. Won't hurt anything.
