G'day Stev, .Nice pick up mate. As you say a little paint, chrome and a wiring tidy up , you got yourself a ripper. Is this your 1st BSA?My 51 A7 (with a few mods) is my favourite for 36 years.Cheers Progress being made, starting too look good, running far too rich but still too look at that, manual advance was stuck but now free, new side stand bracket, the old one was welded on and in the wrong place, and a few oil leaks in the gearbox gaskets.Steve
G'day Steve.Looks like someone has played with the kick start quadrant. It's a lot forward of where it should be. I modified my Cafe's one like that so was more comfortable with rear set pegs. Not a big deal though. Lookin' good mate.Cheers
Each of the 'quadrants' that I have, have different depth cutaways for the return peg. I had a notion that Goldie ones are the deepest Also maybe only early (Plunger) 'quadrants' are splined?
