fork shrouds
« on: 30.03. 2017 01:40 »
Has anyone bought these fork shrouds, and are they very good quality or just garbage?

I just ran across these on Draganfly, they look to me to have the right shape (mine are more A 65) but I hate to throw good money at something like this if the quality is not there.

Check on the 67-5042 or the 67-5044 that the headlight ear is off set from the center slightly towards the outer edge side...
IF their central they dont fit the 7" headlight.. & will buckle slightly when the headlight is attached.
Those look better than the set I bought from my local supplier.

I bought a pair of these from DF 5 years ago and am happy with the parts.
Wozza, I gave up on Modak years ago.  *eek*

About 3 years ago I bought a very nice pair of shrouds with ears, 15 inches length and powdercoated black for my A10.

they fitted perfectly.

They came from Burton Bike Bits.

JulianS, are they Wassell? Because I'm searching for these also and Burton Bike Bits ones are made by Wassell.
I've purchased Wassell parts previously and not happy with the overall quality.

Draganfly ones are individually handmade but no telling how long it will take to receive them.

I got these in Autumn 2013 and fitted them as recieved from BBB. No fettling needed.

They fitted perfectly and the paint was good. After many miles summer and winter they have not cracked or split and the paint is still good.

I dont know who made them but I know what you mean about Wassell quality, and avoid them as far as possible - however whoever made these did a good job.
