Primary case leak

I had the bike running proberley for the first time today since I purchased it.
After it had been running for about 15mins and I had turned it off, I noticed a small pool of ATF under the bike, it was coming from the back of the primary case (clutch area).
I am assuming that a new sealing washer (42-7504) will fix it.
Is there anything else that I should be looking at or replacing while I am in there?

There you are; proof that using different coloured lubricants is a great idea.

Roy, have you got to much ATF in the case ? If you have it'll still chuck it out ,only needs to allow the chain to touch the fluid any more ad it's everywhere,particularly the floor

I filled it up until it ran out of the level pipe, so should have been bang on before some of it ran out.

Not necessarily. I fitted one of these stainless level tubes and the level was too high. Measure 190 cc of whichever oil you prefer and  you will find it just wetting the chain . Doesn't need to be swimming in the stuff. Also helps the clutch from getting saturated.

That is not the right one - looks like its from an early A65 gearbox. The pipe should be about 7/8 inch long.

Drain and refil with 225cc of oil and the problem may be gone.

Hands up all those that said, "too much oil". Well done. 
I removed the drain plug and drained out eleven Fl oz, that is still three fl oz too much besides all of the fluid that leaked out.
I cut the level pipe down to 7/8", replaced it and filled with eight fl oz of new Dexron 3, fired up the bike and let it run, NO LEAK
