Headlamp ammeter panel screw
« on: 23.06. 2017 14:36 »
Hello

I have searched the forum, and found out that I need three 3BA round head screws for the ammeter panel on the SSU700 headlanp. I have now searched the web, and found these screws in either the US or Australia. I will pay a hefty handling fee to Danish Mail for anything that need customs even though the customs charge is not very high, sp best to buy within the EU, and for the time being, the UK is still with us. But for the life of me, I can't find round headed 3BA screws in stainless or zinc plated.

Does anybody have a source for these screws? As you can get complete headlamps, I reckon that these screws are made somewhere.

Cheers, Otto

Not sure if they were originally round head or not, but anyway this is where I got mine from http://www.barleycorn.co.uk/BSA-Goldstar?page=4 Stainless steel and they have not tarnished or discoloured in 7 years.

Thanks folks

I like stainless, so will likely go with Barleycorn.
