I am keeping track of lessons I'm learning from having a classic bike, and having taken her out today I've learned 4 more. I hope my ignorance reminds you of a time before you knew what you were doing :-D

2) It's a choke, not advanced/retard.

3) Running with the choke open will soot up your plugs pretty quickly.

4) Old plugs are brittle and will snap easily if you're not careful with them.

5) You can make it home on a shorter plug, but it's unpleasant.
