RGS rear chain guard removal
« on: 05.10. 2017 17:10 »
How is the rear chain guard removed? I have undone and removed the two visible retaining fasteners, one at the front accessed through the hole in the frame lug, and the other one at the rear end of the chain case, but the guard does not want to come off. Is there another fastener lurking unseen somewhere?

John, are there not two front bolts, one either side?

trevinoz thanks for pointing that out. What a bu**er that inside one is to get to, actually the outer front is little better, luckily I had an old fashioned box spanner knocking about. None of my sockets would go through the hole provided to access the bolt.

John,
There should be four fasteners, two at the front, two at the rear.
