Any one know how to stop the rear springs from groaning ?
They are new units.

Might need a smear of grease between spring and cover.

Could it be from shock absorber rubber bushings? If so rubber grease, (available from Halfords in the UK) might be the answer.

Had it on the SA’s old shock absorbers but as they where worn it didn’t bother me.
Installed a new pair recently but to my surprise they groan/whine in the same manner...
Anyway, it’s only audible when the engine’s not running so I pretend not to hear it  *smile*
A case of “they all do that sir”?

I will take them apart IF I can find a compressor tool to remove the collets.

Or KY jelly, says its safe to use on all rubbers and cheaper than Halfords ! ;)
