Anyone want a 1959 S/Arm model log book V5/C A10

It's just been listed on ebay, not by me I might add. Yes it can be done legally.

if the bike has been exported then maybe it could be re imported at another date and 2 frames with the same frame number exist?

Simply declare a change of frame. I have read of many people doing this over the years when their frames have been damaged. The DVLA just want an easy life as we have all noticed.

I dont think it is quite that easy. Different frame number equals different bike.

Indeed, and when I told the DVLA that my Triumph had a different frame number from that in the V5C I had a surprise (as in, no forward notification) visit from a copper from the local stolen vehicle unit.
He checked the frame number ( he knew where to look, the font Triumph had used and what the format should be) all under a portable U/V light unit and declared it all to be OK, and DVLA then issued an amended V5C.
This was back in about 2007, and things have tightened up since then.

Can be done if honest about it. May take a while, transparency.

Why would anyone want to pay that amount, with risk of a dubious outcome, when the process for applying for an age related plate is comparatively straight forward and costs many hundreds of pounds less, which could be spent on the bike?

Anyway who knows if that particular V5C has been cancelled, or the record otherwise marked by DVLA?
