tank badges for 1951 A10
« on: 12.12. 2018 20:11 »
Having just plated the badges S+T told me they should be gold not chrome. Is this right for a Golden Flash in the black livery?

All that I have were chrome plated, some alloy, some brass.

The badges on my machines tank have a yellow appearance. They are pressed metal. I wouldn't be suprised to find they are anodised aluminium. I'm certain they are the original badges.

We have a box full of these badges (one side only), and they are all Genuine BSA NOS, and have a yellowish appearance. They suit various models, so may have changed color slightly through the years

I’m fairly sure to be A10 badges they should have “Golden Flash” embossed on them (see pic), badges without that embossied on them fit A65s (oil tanks or tool boxes or side panels, not sure which).

Yes sorry that is correct... The A10 ones with Golden Flash embossed are another part number
