Watching D-Day ceremonies live right now. It never loses importance.

In spending virtual time in Normandy via the TV, wondering what our friend Groily is doing today in Normandy, where I believe you still live. Were you at the ceremonies?

On a strange coincidence, I am about to set off to an Army Reserve Center to test the audio system I designed for the new construction. I didn't set out to have a direct interface with the military on D-Day. It should be interesting.

I must admit I had a bit of a smirk when HE & Melania were talking to D Day veterans when one old veteran commented on how beautiful Melania looked, & that IF only he was 20 years younger ...

Apologies to any Americans who saw the (few) anti-Trump  demonstrators. They should have been more respectful on this solemn occasion and saved their virtue-signalling for a more appropriate time and place.

Well whilst no great admirer of Thrump  at least he conducted himself correctly for this occasion , it was really good to see so many US vets there  ,how proud we are of them all and rightly so .
