Klaus.. That eBay listing is interesting in that the vendor is making the classic mistake of confusing rarity with desirability. Longstrokes are Rare, certainly. Desirable? Not really, as the design is flawed, so only if you are desperate, or foolish enough to consider that represents a good buy. I don't think there will be a rush. In a similar manner, how anyone can be prepared to spend £100 on a plunger stand beats me. Or is it me, Grade A Skinflint, who has it wrong? Sliggo's recent post on values and trends made interesting reading. But then I look on old bikes as simply a hobby.
